Public Works Is Now Hiring Seasonal Laborers

Public Works is now seeking Seasonal Laborers. Hours of work for this position will range between 32 and 40 hours per week. Seasonal laborers can expect to work through mid-January of 2019.

A seasonal laborer at Public Works generally collects trash or recyclables on a daily basis. A seasonal laborer may also be required to cut grass, complete general landscaping tasks, minor building maintenance, and park facilities maintenance.

A seasonal laborer must be at least 18 years old and all applicants will be subject to a criminal background check.

A seasonal laborer generally works as a part of a crew of laborers to complete tasks and is under the supervision of a senior employee or the Public Works Foreman.

Duties and responsibilities include trash collection, grass cutting, vehicle washing, Public Works building cleaning, and any other assignments given by the Superintendent or Foreman.
