LOCATION: Pennypack Elementary School, 130 Spring Avenue, Hatboro

Hatboro 2040 will provide a framework for managing places and spaces that make the town unique. It will explore what currently exists in Hatboro and recommend strategies to ensure future growth, development, and investment will make the town an even better place to live, work, and play.

This community workshop will be an opportunity for you to provide your thoughts and opinions on the most important areas of the plans. Your input shapes the vision for Hatboro's future. Please come and share your thoughts and ideas.

The preliminary 2018 Borough Operating Budget is available for public review. A paper copy of the budget is available at Borough Hall for review Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Help Create The Hatboro 2040 Comprehensive Plan

Hatboro is creating a new Comprehensive Plan (Hatboro2040) and a Parks, Recreation, & Open Space Plan. These plans will have long-range visions and sets of goals for Hatboro, with specific recommendations and strategies to achieve the vision.

Hatboro 2040 will provide a framework for managing places and spaces that make the town unique. It will explore what currently exists in Hatboro and recommend strategies to ensure future growth, development, and investment will make the town an even better place to live, work, and play.

The plan is shaped by you! Your input as interested citizens, business owners, and stakeholders is critical in shaping the vision for the future of Hatboro. By sharing what you love about Hatboro, and what you want to improve, you will help to create a plan that truly reflects what is important to the community. We will have a public workshop in early 2018! This is an opportunity for you to provide your thoughts and opinions on the most important areas of the plans. February Wawa Zoning Hearing Board Meeting Information

The Zoning Hearing Board will be meeting on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 7 PM. Please note, this meeting will be taking place in Borough Hall, 414 S. York Road, Hatboro.

The Zoning Hearing Board will be hearing the application of Buckingham Retail Properties, LLC for the properties located at 402 & 412 S. York Road. (RC-2 Zoning District) and 29 Horsham Road (R-1 Zoning District) requesting zoning relief to permit a convenience store with motor vehicle fuel sales, as follows:

1) A substantive validity challenge to the zoning ordinance based on a de jure exclusion of retail stores with motor vehicle fuel sales; Or in the alternative

A substantive validity challenge to the zoning ordinance based on a de factor exclusion of retail stores with accessory motor vehicle sales; Or in the alternative

A variance from Section 27-602 and Section 27-1202.M "Use Regulations" to permit improvements associated with a retail store use in the R-1 Zoning District, and to permit an accessory use, motor vehicle fuel sales, not to be located at or above the second-story level; Or in the alternative

A variance from sections 27-602 and 27-1202 "Use Regulations" to permit a retail store with motor vehicle fuel sales in the RC-2 and R-1 Zoning Districts.

2) A variance from section 27-1205.1.F "Development Regulations for Retail Commercial Uses" to permit a permanent landscaped planting area of less than 15' in depth adjacent to an office use.
