Help Wanted: Full Time Laborer

Hatboro Borough, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (7,500 pop.) seeks a full-time Public Works Laborer

The Department maintains approximately 50 lane miles of local roadways, including snow removal, and provides additional services at State-owned roads. Additionally, the department is responsible for approximately 30 acres of active and passive parks, and provides for the twice-weekly curbside collection of waste and recyclable materials. The Department maintains Borough-owned facilities, including Borough Hall, Police Station and a municipal pool complex, services street lights and traffic signals, inspects, cleans and repairs stormwater infrastructure.

The desired applicant is to have basic knowledge of the day-today operations of a Public Works department and related equipment. A valid PA class B CDL (Minimum) with the air brake restriction removed. High School diploma or GED equivalent. The ideal candidate will have trade experience in either plumbing and/or HVAC.
